When it happens around Christmas time…well, you get the idea. Our furnace had been blowing cold air, off and on, for awhile and we just kind of put on another layer and ignored it. When it worked, we were ecstatic. Well, with the upcoming sub-freezing temperatures forecast, we knew we had to bite the bullet and get it looked at. We called Icy Hot in the morning, the day after Christmas and they came out within 4 hours of the call, right when they said they would After about 20 minutes working on our furnace, Frankie comes down and says "You need a new unit". Our jaws dropped at the bad news. Then he says "Just kidding" and laughed. That type of personal interaction is just another positive about Ice Hot. It turned out it was a very simple fix and our furnace was working perfectly. I can't state enough how trustworthy and professional Frankie and the folks at Icy Hot are. In this day and age of reports of companies taking advantage of uninformed consumers (which when it comes to HVAC, I fall squarely in that uninformed category), it is so refreshing to have a company like Icy Hot that takes pride in their customer service, pride in their work and pride in their honesty. His work has been top notch and he doesn't do "good enough for now" or apply temporary bandaids. If something does go wrong down the road, he stands behind his work.
